Wednesday, March 26, 2008 Em FungFor four days, that loud voice wasn't anywhere to be heard. I was wondering, where la this girl went to..I found out from another person that her e-mail had an auto message alert, those you put on when you're not in the office to reply e-mails/on leave. Then on Thursday before the wedding, she called me to ask me about something. Then only she told me that she'd only be coming back in April.. Even though it was only four days she wasn't around, sort of miss her shouting from her desk, calling my name 'WERNNNNNN'. Yeah, that's how Emily calls me in the office. She created that name, and now the rest of the marketing department calls me that too. I hope she comes back faster! Being the one person that I had a misunderstanding with, we reconciled..and now we're still good friends. Watching her walk into the restaurant that night, clutching Jame's hand made me tear a little..Hehe. Touched mar... Yup..Em did it! And she looked fabulously stunning that night!

Sunday, March 23, 2008 MarmaladeSome say the food doesn't taste good. Some say the food here totally sucks. Some say, "I ordered something, and my friends ordered other stuff, they all tasted bad." Somehow.. I love the food here to the bits! I can eat lasagnas two days in a row. Oreo cheesecake? YUM. You have to share though, cos the portions are really HUGE. The quiche is tasty, but not sure bout the smoked salmon ones...taste rather fishy...otherwise, the turkey and ham is yummy! However, I still prefer their lasagnas any day. Drinks are generally tasty. Iced Honey Latte. Mmmm...Lattes are my favourite. You could never go wrong with it. Well.. I had a bit of space, so I downed the Strawberry cuppy. YUM.
Don't worry..I don't eat there everyday.. otherwise I might spend a whole month's salary there...Simply delicious!

Sunday, March 02, 2008 Happy MealWorking til 9pm isn't that great. Especially when I can hardly open my eyes after that, having to sleep late because I over exhausted myself and yet, there is still work to be done. If you think I get to sleep in the next day and get into office a little later, you thought wrong. That's why I hate it when people say things like, 'Oh you journalist have flexi working hours don't you..' True for most, but not true for me. Yah, I have a MAD editor who is obsessed with me coming into the office early to talk to the mosquitoes or flies if there may be...Yup, no sane human beings come to work as early as I do. Not even marketing. What's new? I got a threat. That if I come in late after 10am, I will have to punch in from March 1st onwards. At the though of that, I really feel like quiting my job. All my friends who are in my line has a freedom of coming into office at a fairly flexible time, while I have to abide by the 9am - 5pm shit. Trust me, it sucks. Where I live, it's not exactly that easy to get a direct transport to my God forsaken office area. And usually, the lrt station at Wangsa Maju is perpetually PACKED from 7am-10am. Yah, 10-freaking-am. Don't blame me if I'm always in a bad mood...I didn't choose to be. Sigh... so tired... *** It's the little things like hanging out with my favourite friends that keep me sane in a day...and I thank God for them... When I'm thirsty, I go get beers. When I'm hungry, I just go find delicious food. At D'lish

Post Chinese New Year (craziness) It has to be the most Lion Dances I've seen in my life in such a short span of time! One after another they came, first from Astro, the A Famosa then this other shopping mall...Chang Chang Chang! Not to mention that one came and disturbed me so terribly! Grrrr.. and went after Lai Kuan too! Haha ! Now, they made me have a phobia against LIONS! (those dancing ones lar). Although those few weeks of pre-Chinese New Year and post were rather hilarious, they were fun in many weird ways. I remember telling Jaimie that the last one was for her because she missed the first two! Hahaha ! Some sent cakes while others sent the usual hampers and all sorts of variants that you could never have thought to send as CHINESE NEW YEAR gifts! No matter what, we had much fun :)
Kay..chup..I wanna go breathe for a while.. to be continued...
