Saturday, March 26, 2005 Sierra Mas. . .Yeap, Went all the way to Sungai Buloh just to interview a small kid.. took a Putra, then a KTM and then a cab which cost me RM10 for less then 10 minutes !!! Felt a little stoopid la.. And even more stoopid-er when I found out that the photographer went as well, who has a CAR !! My gosh !! I really wanted to throw stones at him !! And he still had the chic to make fun of how I went there !! Haih.. but in the end he fecthed me back to the office la.. thank goodness, cos I started wondering how I was going to go home from there !! So, the girl whom I interviewd was called Kam Su-Sze.. she in a way suggested to her mom that she wanted to do something to help raise funds for the children who were affected by the Tsunami.. So her mom came out with selling portcards that were designed according to whatever the little kid drew.. Not much of a story, but just a simple act of sympathy that came from a child of that age ! By the way, she's only 4 years old.. Man.. it was really siaoness !! But it was truly a great experience la.. hehe ;p Picture of the lil` kid ;)  Well.. today has been very tiring.. and nothing much happened today... Saw Mun yue and Yar hwi also.. they came all the way from Sg Long and Cheras !! Hehe, really great friends !! ;p
Wednesday, March 23, 2005 Man...Can't believe I went to see the 14 Miss Malaysia Universe 2005 finalists to day !!! haih.. nothing great la.. all of them had horrible make-up !! And only some of them looked ok.. Even the photographer said they all were ok only.. compared to last year la.. wahhaha !! And.. I can't believe that I have to go to Sierra Mas tomorrow !!!! All the way in Sungai Buloh !!!!! I really dunno how to go there ler.. *Sigh* I really want to pengsan liao... Tired . . . Headache . . . and Exhausted . . .
Tuesday, March 22, 2005 Christina & Cats Whiskers Went for an assignment with Christina hehe ;p And we went to Desa Sri Hartamas.. yea.. early in the day, and that place was so hot !! as in 'panas' !! And Malaysia has just become so HAZY !!! cannot see anything !! aahhaa ;p And we both attended the Johnson & Johnson press confrence.. And there were lotsa kids !!! so cute some of them !! And we were supposed to go find food, but instead, christina saw the boutique !! And so we went shoping first !! And so i bought a coudroy and velvet skirt !! pink and purple !! hahaha ;p all in one skirt only la.. Now, i'm very tired... HEadache again.. *sigh* Til then... thatha !!
Thursday, March 17, 2005 And I didn't go to work. . .Hehe, i didn't go to work today !!! YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY !!!!! Hehe, see how happy i am ! Cannot imagine leh.. Well, i decided to take the day off, before i fall sick and not enjoy my youth camp ! Been having quite bad migraines ler.. and i realy the hate the office air-cond !! So, decided to take the day off !! Hahahhahah =] And i'll be leaving to Frasers Hill !! Yahoooo !! oK, back to earth.. went out with Stacia today.. hehe ;p Just for fun ! YEa, and she was saying, "You wanted to go out, but I end up buying more stuff than you !" Well, in a way, its true la.. ahahhha ;p *sigh* I really reallly miss those days when i used to just call a friend at the very last minute and say, " HEY ! lets go out !!" And we go out like 1/2 an hour later.. But now, everyone's so busy (including me) , til we have to plan so long ahead just to go yam cha !! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !! don't like lar.. no choice ler.. OK, so, pray for me you people who're called friends, ahahha ;p As i'm kinda dying in the office, and hope that i'd survive !! Seriously la.. pray for faith and patience.. (--,) 'Til then, i'll be off to Frasers !! thatha !! =D
Tuesday, March 15, 2005 HEADACHE !Been having headache pangs quite often these few days.. don't know why ler.. Man, how i wish i could just disappear !! That'll be good !! Anyway today, I finished the LG Electronic launching PC at 12noon.. when the marketing guy Aundrey sent me back to office.. my head almost exploded ! But at least i got to know a new person la.. hehe ;p Then i did nothing until Tamarai came back.. All i did was sat there, in Angela's place and read my Reader's Digest ! Soon, it was tea time.. so i went down with Tamarai.. After tea, found out that Uma needed help cutting vouchers for theSun Motor hunt this Saturday. So, it is the first time that I'm venturing downstairs to the production house !! hehe ;p Quite cool !! get to see what happens before the newspaper is being printed ! And so, I cut cut cut cut cut ! Finally when back at 645pm.. Well, at least i feel not so depressed at the end of the day compared to the normal days.. Saw Philip too ! aaha, man he's grown !! tall and chubbier !! hahahahha ;p
Monday, March 14, 2005 Sometimes. . .I don't understand how one can just shoo me home like that. Especially if it's your boss. How ar?? tak faham la.. *SIgh* Tomorrow, i'll be going to Kelana Jaya.. and at first i had to go myself, to some i-dunno-where-the-place-is !! Thankfully the marketing guy is going, he'll be giving me a lift ! *sigh*
Sunday, March 13, 2005 Six Day Week ?And so my Sundays have become Mondays !! MAN ! ;( For this whole month, I have to work on Sundays.. which is not very nice ! ;( But what to do lar... Last Sunday : Was my first day back at Newsdesk.. Went to the National Museum and looked like some weird tourist. I was cheered up a little when I heard that the photographer was one of my new made friends at The Sun. A tall and crazy guy he is, and always teaching me nonsense! But in a good way, it helps lah.. Quite a nice guy =) After the trip to the museum for a story coverage on Kuala Lumpur Tourism Association event, I went back to office to write bout it.. -End- Monday : After a long day at work, only i went for an assignment at The Curve.. some F1 press conference.. He went along last week as well when i went to the Wilfred Lau Ho Lung p.c. Sent a msg, and disappear ! *sigh* -End- Tuesday Went for some MasterCard thingy.. All formal and scary.. surrounded by people who looked professional ! Went back to office, and rush like mad to finish two articles ! -End- Wednesday : Did nothing but disturb Anansa, Angela, the whole entertainment desk always gets disturbed by me !! haha ;p Then wondered around, to the photo desk, and back and staring at a guy over at the marketing department who came in Monday ! He introduced himself to me anyway.. talk about weird names.. But he really is a charming guy ! (--,) -End- Thursday : WENT TO CAREY ISLAND , THE ORANG ASLI SETTLEMENT ! TO WRITE A FEATURE STORY ON THE TRIBE THAT ALMOST EXTINCT !! Thank goodness the photographer had a car.. if not, I think i'd end up paying the taxi man hundreds to go so far inside an orang asli settlement !! that's if cabs wanted to go into that area.. Thanks Saiful ;p Came back, though i could leave early to watch SEPET with Amy .. but got held back cos had to finish the article.. In the end i had rush like mad and almost gave up going.. ;( SEPET was really good ! so, it kinda made my day... =) -END- Friday : Supposed to be off day, but i decided to go to work, and thankgoodness i went to work !! Other wise my article will go into the dumps !! There were so much that i had to add to the article !! Lydia was really nice, spent me STARBUCKS ! which is my favourite !! and it did some chilling la.. And today reached and passed !! [Saturday] Went to Great Eastern Mall in the morning.. for fun la.. hehe ;p Bought bed sheets for mom from Aussino and sandals for myself from The Island Shop ! Then went for a jog with Amy and Lam.. Then went to MPO [Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra] with Amy, her mom and dad, Lam and Wan Huey . Finally got to wear my white dress, hehe ;p And now, i'm officially tired and worn out !! AND I HAVE TO WORK ON SUNDAY ... Well.. looking forward to Monday... ;(
Thursday, March 03, 2005 Watson's Ambassador?And so I attended the press conference on the appointment of Watson's Ambassador, Cheryl Samad ! Yea, they re-launched the outlet in KLCC as well , at the same time introducing a 2-minute infomercial thing.. Well the case is ; Cheryl was my schoolmate, senior to me by four years. The last time i saw her was almost 8 years ago !! We went to the same school in Primary and Secondary. Thinking that she wouldn't recognize me, she DID ! Hahahaha ;p I was surprised by her reaction ! She came over to us (few reporters) to welcome us before the P.C. started. When I stood up to reach out for her hand to shake it, I asked : WJ : Can you remember .. [me?] (before I could even finish my sentence..) CS : Yeah !! I can remember you !! (with that, she gave me a BIG hug !) It's been sooooo long !! HOw have you been?? (with all the Ohh and Ahhhs ) Ahahha, it was really hillarious lah ! I was a lil' speechless, cos for a perosn in showbiz to remember their long lost friends, small chance la.. Hehe, but I'm glad that she remembered me ! She was like a 'Tai Kar che' to me last time when I was in Primary school ! ahhaha ;p I can stiil remember her pat my head everytime I see her !! She's a great gurl with lotsa talents !! hehehehe ;p Haha, my heart is so overwhelmed !! to have met a long time friend who is in the showbiz, and is still herself !! * Oh yea, saw Jien (you all should know who lah) and Ng Ping Ho (Director of Popiah Pictures a.k.a. KopiTiam) and I think Anne Low (producer) ;p That's yesterday. Today (2nd March 2005) I interviewed her and had a long long chat at Starbucks in Bangsar Village, heehee =] It was like work and catching up with an old friend ;) We had fun laughing at each other's lives ! ahhaha =] And I got my job done too ( which is to collect info to write a profile page on her) The photographer, Kamarul, also had fun listening to the interviews and chatted along.. ahaha ;p And i've finally got to know this photographer. Five photographers in The Sun, he's the last to speak to ! ahahh ;p Quite friendly guy lah , hehe ;) OK.. I'm exhausted already !! Before I end, this a picture of her :
