The Pent House

From the tiny little SonyEricsson cellphone screen I thought to myself - Wow. What a nice house or apartment?

Today I had the oppoturnity to step inside that whole-different-world-behind-those-grills.

It had a warm, yet cold and calm feeling.
It makes you want to just feel comfortable no matter how stressed out you were feeling upon entering the apartment.

A slightly roomy area for laundry, a cool washing machine it is.

A dry kitchen, but also for cooking. With a mini-bar right behind the sink. Those western kind of kitchen when the kid or father wakes up in the middle of the night to grab a bite.

Right above the sink, was the shelve of cooking books. Neatly placed.
The dining table, black almost cold marble typed (some kind of stone I don't know what's it called), with wooden seat stools on metal legs, can turn ! Hanging from on top, metal tea light candle holders, square frames which insides shaped into trees that trunk ends with the tealightholder. (Like a see thru shaped thing, bird cage but one part of a fourwalled bird cage).

Just behind the dining the other side, was a mat, thick / rough woven mat. Bali styled. Where two peculiar looking chairs stood. Quite low, but most of all, comfy.

The floor, just plain cement. Weird. Not like those marbled, tiled, parquet or any coloured kind of paved grounds. Just, cement.

Almost two types of sofas. One with a shelf behind it. Another a sofabed. And with funky sitting stuff on the ground. Triangulared, decorated with fluffy-furry pillows. Right in front of those sitting stuff, a transparent tube-bottle vase hanging from a metal stick, slightly curved stand.

Few steps away, the tele, on top of a simple shelf. The usuals, DVDs and players. And a very thick book of Jamie Oliver's.

The coffee table, with books of all kinds. Translated from Spanish one of it. The coffee table sitting on top of some furry skin thing. The sheep's skin kinda stuff.

On my left, the office. Walking through it was like a paradise of MacintoshApples ! Flatscreens,laptops,with cpu or without and black or white. Another table with flatscreens of Dell.

At the end of the office floors, was the gate to another world. The garden. With all the plants in the world ! Almost la. All arrayed on shelves. Overlooking the most beautiful views you can actually find in Malaysia ! The sunset beyond KLCC and KL Tower.

Another entrance which connects back to the rooms. I didn't really explored the rooms and bathrooms. But I think I can imagine. And yah, all types of candle holders ! Me favourite.

My kind of house. Plain randomness.

An architect's apartment. An Interior Designer's apartment. Their office too *smiles*

I admired in silence and awe.
